What have you finished reading:

Little Bird by Darcy Van Poelgeest (Author), Ian Bertram (Cover Art, Artist) - This was a really great story, but I wish it were a little easier to follow. Some of the character designs can be easily confused (little bird looks so much like her mom that i'd get confused). But this was a really well built world and I'll be interested in reading more.

What are you currently reading:

Rebellious Mourning: The Collective Work of Grief by Cindy Milstein (Editor) - When Sabs was reading this, probably a year ago, I picked it up. What a better time to read this. Thus far its been very good, its a bunch of short essays on collective grief in struggles for equality/anarchism/progressive politics. I've been feeling particularly downtrodden by the world as it is, especially just how depressing/frustrating covid/the election/we're still politicizing masks??? so its nice to sort of feel like all of these traumatic things deserve grief too. I'm about half-way through though and some of the essays are better than others.
