Invader ZIM Vol. 4 by Jhonen Vasquez (Author), Aaron Alexovich (Illustrator), Warren Wucinich (Illustrator) - I needed some light reading.
What are you currently reading?
Gay the Pray Away: Healing Your Life, Love, and Relationships from the Harms of LGBT Conversion Therapy by Erika Allison (Author) - Yeah, I hate self help books. But I also feel pretty alone after accepting that conversion therapy might have fucked me up more than I want to admit. Erika went through an Exodus ministry and so did I... but I guess Exodus had 200-something ministries under it, so I guess its pretty common. The first step is just to admit that conversion therapy damaged me, which, yeah, I'm on board or I wouldn't have gotten the book. I feel like this book is more for people who aren't in a committed relationship. As if, somehow, I just lucked into my marriage after not healing from conversion therapy, but idk. I find that the gay experience with conversion therapy and the bisexual/pansexual experience with conversion therapy to be pretty different, although damaging all the same. I sound like I'm being hard on it, its been good so far.
