What have you finished reading?
A Scanner Darkly by Philip K. Dick (Author) - This really picked up about half way through and I couldn't put it down. The narrator's psyche absolutely breaks in a compelling way that I didn't expect to see so well done in a novel. Absolutely a good read and worth picking up if its your kind of thing.
Thunder & Lightning: Weather Past, Present, Future by Lauren Redniss (Author) - This is a ... its not exactly a comic. But something like that, anyway. It was mostly about the weather. The most interesting chapter to me was on fog, and how it fucks with sailors. It really captured my imagination. The art is kind of neat, but occasionally... ... distractingly amateurish? idk. But this was good.
Long Walk to Valhalla by Adam Smith (Author), Matthew Fox (Illustrator) - This comic comes with a bunch of trigger warnings, mostly for child abuse, but was very good. I stayed up late reading this one because I couldn't put it down.
Through the Woods by Emily Carroll (Author, Illustrator) - Short little horror vigniette comics. It was good. The design was the best part. All the costumes that were drawn were good.
What are you currently reading?
Exit Wounds by Rutu Modan (Author), Noah Stollman (Translator) - I'm only a few pages into this one, but it seems like all of the characters aren't very likable. Hopefully it picks up.
