So continuing thinking about this. I added some people [hi/sorry!]. I was surprised that a lot of people that left for here haven't been consistent. i see like 3 people on lj posting, and 3 people over here. whats the point?

Ugh. idk. i updated the layout, but i just don't care. wasnt this place founded so people could post underage fics? is me being here saying its okay? let's see if this lasts longer than a week.

I'm guilty of posting less here than I used to on LJ. A lot of my friends came to DW but for some reason, a lot of them don't post often. Not sure why.

I mean, i get why we all left lj. the ToS override was terrible. but im still not feeling an appeal here. idk. I should try, though, right?

i think it's a lot to get used to at first but dreamwidth is a nice lj replacement. i haven't been updating as much because i'm busy but those of us that are here are here. i remember you from lj so thanks for adding me here!

if you post i will do my best to comment at the very least so you don't have to feel like this is all futile, haha.

awww thank you! that's very sweet. It less that I need validation. Most.. skepticism? I guess? a friend passed and i have more internet-time on my hands than i did before. i guess a part of me re-wanted lj [or dw, i guess] to fill that void. we'll see either way, i suppose.

it took forever for me to get used to it here tbh! i was like ' there's no one here omg! ' and it didn't start to feel like home until i just kind of let lj go in a sense. i'm so sorry to hear ab your loss! i know that doesn't mean much but, yeah. feel free to keep using this place as a way to vent or whatever you want! we're glad to have you. i feel like dw kind of like functions in fits and spurts?

there will be a surge of activity for a few weeks and then things die down.

now that lj has ( completely ) fucked up i kind of wonder about new people coming in but either way i probably sound like a paid salesman for dreamwidth at this point so i'll stop lol. i just hope you can feel at home here eventually! i know what it's like to have a lot of time on your hands so feel free to try to chat me up on here if you want : o just pm me!
