Hey Dw.
Its been an okay week.
Well, Friday started off kind of stupid. I had a signed package come in at 7am, and someone i didnt know signed for it. I freaked out and called USPS. 2 hours later, filed a case. Well eventually it showed up on my locked back porch. That porch isnt accessible to the public. No clue how it got there. Then I was on hold 2 more hours just to close the case because the USPS hasn't heard of email.
But later that night I went to see DRI. I went by myself. I had a good time. I'm glad I've been going out to more shows lately.
Saturday was kind of busy. Started with silks class. Met Z at the brewery and went shopping. I got a little Christmas Tree and I got some holiday cards. Surprisingly Marshalls had cards and they were really affordable and nice. So score.
I decided to bake less bread and send out cards this year. I made like 10+ loaves the last several years but rarely did I hear praise, and like a lot of people didnt see me in time so the loaves would get freezer burnt. Cards are a new animal though. Writer's cramp sucks!
After shopping, I went to PWR which was great as usual. Z actually stayed home. He was just feeling overwhelmed and wanted to play RDR2. He came for the last match and we headed home.
We got into a fight that night but we seem to be okay.
Sunday we drove out 2 hours to go to a state park only to find out it had been closed because its overrun with wildlife (probably hogs since theyve had to close a lot of stuff off). We were really mad. We never thought to check and make sure it was open. Long ass drive for nothing. Z was grumpy. We checked some stuff around Lampasas... mostly kitschy stupid shit. And then headed back home.
So thats a lot of 2 hour increments being wasted. hah. Oh well.
This week has been okay. So that stupid package i was in a knot about... its a leather jacket... and I had already exchanged it once already. WELL IT STILL DONT FIT. So fuck okay i guess im getting an L. I swear to god the Med fit just like the small. but this time im sure this is it.
I also got some cute stuff from dolls kill, only to find out some stuff there didnt fit either. UUUUGH. I've felt like I dont know what my body is lol. I've been p much the same size for a while now lol. Just wish sizes were more uniform. Wish inches were fucking inches. OH well.
Speaking of sizes n stuff, I've done a good job minding my diet and working out. So thats good.
Uh so I gotta go to the post office and do those returns/exchanges. I gotta finish these cards.
The cats go to the vet tomorrow. again. still diarrhea. i dont even know anymore with them. i wanna see what meds we do or dont need before I, like, idk, try to find a pet sitter over christmas, or board them. :\ i HAVE to figure that out tomorrow tho.
I also need to get on my holiday shopping. Im falling behind. but at least i have made lists. i think i can do that tomorrow too after my massage (or before)
This weekend seems p low key. Well, Z works still. There was talk of maybe going out to Jester King to get shane some holiday beers. I know I'm going to a Hanukkah party Saturday. I've celebrated Passover several times, but only done Hanukkah once. So we'll see how this goes.
The end of this entry is starting to sound like a to-do list!
I went rummaging through my lj a few days ago looking for a memory. I found it. But I was surprised that I was, like, more accepting of my abusive ex then than I am now. I think that's okay. I've decided that anger towards people and stuff is okay as long as it isnt consuming. but maybe I could let go a little. I do accept that it happened and that its done. I don't know. Also I noticed I had updated a lot more infrequently. I'm honestly grateful I've gotten into a rhythm of updating. I know its predictable, but I'm consistent.
And hell maybe 3 years from now I'll be rummaging for this entry looking for memories. thats the cool thing about writing in my journal- its nice to reflect. but its nice to have it all here so I don't have to try and memorize everything.
