What have you finished reading?

Nothin'

What are you currently reading?

The Women's House of Detention: A Queer History of a Forgotten Prison by Hugh Ryan (Author) - Its picked up a little, although its hard to read about a bunch of lives ruined by the carceral system. We're getting to the point where people are still alive and can tell their own stories. And I think we're about to get to a point where the house of D becomes a place to protest during and after stonewall, and also a place where intersectionality between the white and black prisoners starts to happen. I think this is ultimately the climax of the book, but I feel like it could have been pared down? Idk. I'm slow reading at this point, but I'm going to finish it damnit.
