Yeah, I skipped last week's reading entry. I think the only thing I had read was my stupid book for work and I was embarrassed about it. But finally I am turning off screens at a more reasonable time and getting more reading done.
What have you finished reading?
A Fire Story by Brian Fies (Author) - A graphic memoir about the california fires caused by PG&E. Its fitting this is the first book I finished in my new home. Its a story about losing your home, what is your home, etc etc. Obviously I didn't lose my home to fire, although what happened to me was certainly was all-consuming.
Inspired: How to Create Tech Products Customers Love (Silicon Valley Product Group) 2nd Edition by Marty Cagan (Author) - happy to be done with this tbh. It was very good at putting me to sleep.
What are you currently reading?
Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown - Toria has actually read ahead of me at this point. I'll get back on it soon, I swear (tm).
All About Love: New Visions by bell hooks (Author) - While I adored the first half of this book, the chapters on faith and greed have both rubbed me the wrong way. She kinda launches into a diatribe about Clinton/Lewinsky and she has 0 compassion for Lewinsky and that shit always pisses me off.
