i don't know that im exactly enjoying it over here. but i do enjoy being able to just post from a browser. ive primarily had my windows partition active because I've been playing a lot of DDR (basically during my lunch break everyday) and I hated having to boot back to linux to post in my txt-j.
otherwise, it feels oddly lonely. but not? theres, like 3 people over at lj still posting too. wish i could add them here somehow? maybe there's a way. its just weird. i feel like i have 3 people here, 3 people there. maybe i should just make a deadjournal and start fresh without this 'grass is greener' feeling. *sigh*
This week has been pretty chill. Friday Z and I hung out with Mike and J and finally exchanged xmas presents. Mike made us beer cheese and o m f g its sublime. J got me a cute gamecube controller pin. Im p pumped. We went for wings and had some beers afterwards.
Saturday Z worked at the brewery. I ran some errands- mostly finally checked out my friend's vintage shop and returned an old navy online purchase. I wound up buying what I was looking for from h&m because, okay, basically i wanted a long sleeve black and white striped shirt. And the shirt i got was 1) black with white stripes and 2) the model had the sleeves rolled up and it turned out it was a 3/4 sleeve shirt. i coulda lived with the first one, but not the latter. So back to the store it went.
Back at the brewery, I got to see Aaron and Aly for a tick. Z finished working and we headed home. Then my job had a holiday party. We did an escape room. We failed at escaping. And then we went to food. It was nice. Afterwards, Uzi and Christian and Z and I went to easy tiger for a few more drinks. Uzi wound up crashing with me.
Sunday wasn't much. Uzi headed out around noon. We had mulled about maybe getting a food or a drink, but just hung out drinking coffee instead since Z was still sleeping. I woke Z up and we watched football. Ugh. I am so unenthused with the football outcomes. i hate the patriots. i hate the eagles.
Silks moved to Tuesday which is all right. I'm still avoiding Thursday classes until it thins out a little. We were working on doing some foot locks while hanging. I didn't think I could hang by my arms from the silks for 10+ seconds trying to do this, but I can. I feel (and look) really strong. Its pretty cool.
This weekend I'm having a little party. Mostly because the new years party was a bust- Z got super sick. Hopefully it is fun.
Oh work forced my hand in spending some PTO before the end of Feb, so Z an I are going to southern arizona. im p pumped about it. im mega pumped about the seguaro natl park. i've always wanted to actually check it out. we found a bunch of other hiking we want to do too. we'll be buying the tickets soon here, so that should be nice. I need to find a kitty sitter though.
sunday is the royal rumble and im p psyched about it.
at any rate, imma try to play with the journal layout a little bit more and finish my evening chores. hasta luego~
