Dec. 24th, 2019 11:57 amIts been a little busy but not as busy as it had been.
Friday we hung out with Gideon and Sarah. It was nice and low paced which was about my speed. I've felt lonely while also not wanting to do anything, so hanging out low key has been perfect.
Saturday we finished up some last minute xmas shopping. We wanted to get David a game that wasnt available online so we had to go into fucking bestbuy. that was absolutely terrible. all their games were behind glass, but not only did you have to take out the game, but they had to walk you to the sales counter too. it was so stupid we were there almost 30 minutes. they couldnt even grab multiple peoples games because the minimum wage paid children couldnt remember everyones orders. burn bestbuy to the ground. also we bought way too much at the comic book store. they were having a really good sale, but i hope z doesnt go to the book stores for a few months now.
pauls yule party was that night. it was a good time although i kept being kind of dark and sad. rachel was there and we talked a lot about pet berevement. Ein passed just a couple of years ago but she was happy to talk about it and i was just in that place too. still, burning up this shit year and hoping the sun comes back is the perfect allegory for my 2019. luckily the sun did, in fact, come back.
the nicest thing i can say about all this is all my friends have given me the space and freedom to be sad and weird and thats nice.
Sunday I didnt do too much. I donated my old computer to the good will computer works. I took a walk inside and I was pretty appalled at the prices. The prices of some of these computers, you could build a much better one for the same price. I went to the brewery and saw Hodge and watched some of the cowboys game.
I moved skittles remains to the computer desk and i have a nice little set up there. I was finally ready to do it so it is done. Its still sad though.
Oh, speaking of Saturday, I went into teh bedroom and saw what looked like Skittles sleeping and my first thought was just "oh there you are". But it was actually a shirt that was balled up and it made me cry. Its sad.
Whats also sad is Shane doesn't want people to come by for christmas anymore. So our christmas plans are cancelled. I basically have none now. I guess christmas night we're going to go see the new star wars movie lol
still it'll be nice to relax the next few days. just catch up on watching stuff, maybe play some stardew valley, stuff like that. we need to get some groceries though.
