I can't wait to tell you 'bout my new girl.

i feel the same today and i think yesterday i was just panicking. i should not be allowed to post such panicky bullshit so early in the morning

a few days ago, my pals were getting a family cat that their family was just going to drop off at the humane society. She's a longhaired black cat named Snowball. (sadly, she knows her kind of stupid name). She is 12 years old. Anyway my pals took her in but she is just terrified of dogs, but likes other cats. And we're in the market. and they wanna keep kitty close to them, because they really do love her. Z met her and loved her and brought her home. And she is our second cat now.

She is my first black cat and shes a total lover and shes already feeling pretty comfortable. She slept up on the bed most of last night. She walked in to the front room, where Blue was, but when she heard Blue meow at her she ran back into the bedroom. But thats okay.

Having a kitty is helpful in distracting me from worrying about the plague. I have a vet appt for her Wednesday. On the one hand, its still about 3 days before my complete 2 week self quarantine, on the other hand, she really does need to go to the vet. So i think it'll be fine. I will wash my hands and not touch anyone or anything. im not coughing anymore and i guess allergies have been bad here which has been fueling my paranoia.

Uh, for anyone else panicking, i highly recommend getting another cat to distract you lol
