Akira, Vol. 3 by Katsuhiro Otomo (Author) - neo tokyo is completely destroyed, again, by akira.
Grass Kings Vol. 3 by Matt Kindt (Author), Hilary Jenkins Tyler Jenkins (Illustrator) - We figure out who did the grass king murders expect when it comes to the leaders kid. but he decides he doesnt need to know. everything is tied in a bow, the feds leave, everyone gets to live on the compound all hunky dory. i didnt like how neatly things were tied up at the end.

Akira, Vol. 4 by Katsuhiro Otomo (Author) - in the ashes of neo tokyo, akira is a god and tetsuo is his right hand man. tetsuo is drug addicted but trying to quit since it apparently is hindering the growth of his powers. kaneda might be alive.
