Jan. 29th, 2021 05:37 pmBetter update now before another weekend comes and goes.
Saturday, we didnt do much. We did hang out with Mike and Jay outside for beers. It was super nice. We shared a cheese board. We decided to hug to say goodbye. It'd been a year since we had hugged so that was really nice.
Sunday was lazy, other than watching football. I'm, uh, still salty about the Packers losing, again. So i'll just leave it at that. Still, statistically, it is hard to get to and win a super bowl. So it goes.
Uh, my car battery finally died. I had a lurking suspicion for a while it was close to going. So i'll have to get jumped and get it replaced eventually. But its fine where its at for now. Because of the pandemic, I barely use my car anyway.
A longtime good high school friend keeps adding me to MLM bullshit. I have zero tolerance for this shit. If I didnt love her, I'd post some sassy anti-mlm stuff and be on my way. But since I really, really love her (she was in my wedding) like, idk what to do. So I keep ignoring it. But I wish I could DM her and be like, "i knew you were bad at math but not THIS BAD" but thats so sassy to send to someone you really love but barely talk to. idk. I guess i'll just complain about her on my blog as if 20 years hadnt passed heh.
Z's birthday trip is ... better. A household backed out, so it'll be 4 of us. I don't love it, but its a small enough group that if we're tested before hand and trust all of us to be mindful and minimize risks, and if we still try to mostly hang out outside, it'll hopefully be fine. I know the trip isn't without risks, but I feel better with it having gone down in size by quite a bit.
Otherwise, not a lot to report. I've been playing a lot of animal crossing still. My joycons are dying. I think, while I'm going to get these repaired, I still may buy another set...
