The Sellout: A Novel by Paul Beatty (Author) - This book is laugh out loud hilarious. The plot doesnt make it seem like it, since its also heavy, but talked about the gentrification of his LA suburb turned neighborhood. He decides he wants it to be a Black suburb again. He inadvertently gains his first "slave" and can't free him no matter how hard he tries.
