What are you currently reading?
The Sellout: A Novel by Paul Beatty (Author) - So, to appease his slave (who definitely reminds me of uncle ruckus from the boondocks) he accidentally reinstates segregation on the bus, and then later the school. Everyone talks about how great it has been.
A lot of this book is using humor to explore how americans both black and white choose to address the racist past. Its been hilarious, but has also made me think. And, yanno, its nice just to laugh sometimes.
