What are you reading Wednesday?
Jun. 21st, 2023 10:19 amWhat have you finished reading?
Popped into the comic shop and read these before I leave.
Something is Killing the Children Vol. 6 by James Tynion IV (Author), Werther Dell’Edera (Illustrator) - I really like this series, but since the show was announced, I feel like they're dragging this out. It kind of felt like either this is setting things up... or just doing filler... Yet they already started a spinoff comic series. Idk. get that bag, but.
The Nice House on the Lake 2 by James Tynion IV, Alvaro Martinez Bueno (Illustrator), Jordie Bellaire (Illustrator) - So, I can't quite tell if they did or didn't end this. And it was a good psychological horror, which amazing artistic body horror, but I feel like theres a ton of unanswered questions if this is the end. It seems like its threatening a spinoff or a prequel or something but man, idk, whatever.
What are you currently reading?
Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown - No progress this week.
Inspired: How to Create Tech Products Customers Love (Silicon Valley Product Group) 2nd Edition by Marty Cagan (Author) - No progress this week.
All About Love: New Visions by bell hooks (Author) - What a serendipitous book to be my book club book while also going through a divorce. I cant put it down. I know I'll have to read this a second time with a highlighter in hand.
