What are you reading Wednesday?
Nov. 22nd, 2023 01:45 pmWhat have you finished reading?
Battle Angel Alita Vol. 1 by Yukito Kishiro (Author, Artist) - Loved this and it was a surprisingly quick read. I'll pick up more from the library once I get on top of my own to-read shelves.
It's Lonely at the Centre of the Earth by Zoe Thorogood (Author, Artist) - A very meta book about depression. It bordered on being almost masturbatory at times, but thats what made it so good and relatable. Anyone who struggles with depression will relate to this. It was really good. Prolly not the best thing i've read all year, but really high up there.
What are you currently reading?
Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown - No progress from V this week, again.
Continuous Discovery Habits: Discover Products that Create Customer Value and Business Value by Teresa Torres (Author) - I need to start reading this again, I totally am I promise lol
Golden Record by Rosemary Valero-O’Connell - A poetry+art graphic novel like thing. The art is gorgeous and the lyricism is grabbing.
