I'm sick! So I'm reading!!

What have you finished reading?

So Much for Love: How I Survived a Toxic Relationship by Sophie Lambda (Author) - Good not great, but a good book for dating a compulsive liar types. Kinda made me think about some of my p terrible past relationships.

Wake: The Hidden History of Women-Led Slave Revolts by Rebecca Hall (Author), Hugo Martínez (Illustrator) - I think I'm going to buy this one. It talks about that the title suggests, but also talks about the trauma and racism of even researching the topic. One of the best things I've read this year. Def worth checking out.

Always Never by Jordi Lafebre (Author, Illustrator), Clémence Sapin (Illustrator) - A romance graphic novel, told backwards, about a love where the timing is never right yet the love persists. They wait 40 years for the timing to be right. Reminded me of a bunch of relationships I've had where the timing just never lines up, made me cry, and I'll probably pick it up for my bookshelf too.

Kaya, Book One by Wes Craig (Author, Artist) - A destroyed nation and a half-sister badass protecting her poindexter brother. Its interesting, but not terrible. Good for a library pick up.
