The Gulf: The Making of An American Sea by Jack E. Davis (Author) - We've gotten to the point where americans are wanting more oil for their cars and oil has been found off the shores of the gulf, as well as other places in texas. Next is louisiana and their oil stuff. This has been really interesting.

How's the writing?

The prose is great. Its won some awards so its definitely good. It is, ofc, a commitment since its a tome of a book but I'm still enjoying it.
