The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman - ok so will breaks the knife thinking of his mom??? but dont worry Iorek is bootleg aslan and can put it back together again. Lyra wakes up and it turns out Lyras mom cares about her and is hiding her from teh church. Lyra and Will have some spys that are following them around, and they keep leaving the knife with the spies as "proof they wont escape" but like, if i were the spies, id just steal the knife and run back to asrael? why not!?
