What have you finished reading?

Americana (and the Art of Getting Over It. ) by Luke Healy - I really loved this book. He considers leaving the trail and hitching a ride to meet up with his friends, but gets worried about how "well then he didnt really hike the whole thing". but a second situation, after hearing about a loved one dying, he stops being so rigid and meets up with some friends in Portland, and does eventually finish the trail. He reflects a lot about life and death, and having to deal with the death while being so far away.

What are you currently reading?

Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff - My husband is getting mad at me for putting off this book, so fine, fine. This book is incredibly fast paced. Atticus gets a letter from his father to visit him in a new england manor. Him, his uncle, and a childhood friend all go together. Its dangerous to drive basically anywhere and be black in the 50s. They arrive and appear to be safe, but I'm pretty certain the person who owns the manor keeps slaves. As it stands, everything is very unsettling.
