Another short story I wanted to share. This one is true, though.
I was hiking on a trail in big bend and needed to pee. I was on the edge of a switch-back and had went off trail a little to see if something was viable. There was sort of a rock slide where I was standing, but it didn't deter me. Until, I lost my footing, and I fell. It wasn't a long fall, just a foot. But both my hands were in two prickly pear cacti. Frustrated, I plucked out what spines I could see from my hands, and my husband pulled me up.
We continued walking; I definitely wasn't going to pee over there. But I kept feeling a weird poke in my butt... there's no way...
Oh yes way: there were cactus spines in my ass. Both cheeks. My darling husband plucked out what was visible and obvious. But I was uncomfortable the whole way down the trail.
When we got home, it turned out, I had several spines that had poked through pants and panties, still lodged in my ass. He grabbed the headlamp and tweezers and did the needful.
I still have a few spines stuck in my butt.
