What have you finished reading?
The Secret Commonwealth by Philip Pullman - How. How. for 600 pages, nothing happened? And now I feel the same way about this book like I did with the 2nd and 3rd Hobbit movies. I'm already stuck in this trilogy, so even though I hate it, I'm going to finish it. There's some good shit here, but just a ton of fucking filler, and it literally got nowhere. for 600 pages. and ends on a cliffhanger! Who is the editor!?! Also! HE PUTS A FUCKING ASSAULT SCENE WHERE LYRA NEARLY GETS RAPED AND THEN IS SAVED BY A ~~MAN~~ AND LIKE THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS SCENE. NO FUCKING REASON WHATSOEVER. WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK.
Sex Criminals Volume 6: Six Criminals by Matt Fraction (Author), Chip Zdarsky (Artist) - I thought that this comic could have ended a couple trades ago, but the ending was honestly pretty thoughtful and sweet for a comic mostly about dick jokes. This one was a lot of fun.
Family Tree, Volume 2by Jeff Lemire (Author), Phil Hester (Artist) - The daughter is fully turned into a tree, and is planted into the ground. No other tree person has gotten this far before. The daughter insists everything is going to be great, but it certainly seems like maybe the tree people are more nefarious than it seems.

Heartbeat by Maria Llovet - highschool outcast sees a popular boy murdering someone and drinking her blood, and now she wants in on it too. This book is incredibly sexual for being about high schoolers. I'm going to tell myself theyre 18 to feel better, but its making me p uncomfortable. I mean the whole murder + blood consumption is also supposed to make me uncomfortable. But you know what I mean. The art is gorgeous.
