Not last night, but the night before, I woke up to a thunderous sound. I thought it was a whirlwind of debris, from a tornado, headed our way. Turned out it was actually just a really thick hailstorm on our tin roof. It sounded like the end of the world. I looked at my phone first to make sure there wasn't a tornado warning text, and then figured it must be hail. Snowball and Pepper were in the closet together. My car is fine, but Z's car is all dented up.
Yesterday, I had a candle lit because the room was kind of stinky. Biggie jumped up, and sat next to the candle. His coat was singeing but he didn't move. I luckily smelled it, and put out his coat, and put out the candle. I brushed out any fur that was burned. On the one hand, how is this cat so dumb he'd just stay next to a candle while his fur caught fire? On the other, other hand, I am so grateful it wasn't worse. I don't know what I would have done if he had somehow went up in flames. I'm glad he's okay, but wow he is also dumb. No more candles around biggie. I'd expect this kind of stupidity from Blue, not Biggie.
