What have you finished reading?
Rebellious Mourning: The Collective Work of Grief by Cindy Milstein (Editor) - The last long short story was about personal loss and it was a great way to wrap up the book. I've been extra weepy lately about any death, and my mourning has extended into my dreams, so, idk, i guess it was the right time to read this.
A Map to the Sun by Sloane Leong (Author) - This is an absolutely gorgeous comic. It uses color in such a smart, smart way. Like, just a stunning comic. Its a coming of age story about 5 girls on a basketball team. 2 of them were best friends at one point, but one just kind of up and left and never called the other back. The girls all have some serious struggles, and sadly there isn't justice for any of them really. But its a great story, and its absolutely gorgeous
What are you currently reading?
On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden (Author)- I haven't gotten too far into this. A new girl has joined a space crew with 4 other people. There was a time skip backwards, i guess its going to explain how she wound up on this crew. Its now a weird space boarding school situation. I'm really digging it thus far.
