This weekend was all right. Saturday was the brewery oktoberfest. I got a little toasty but had a lot of fun. Although my anxiety was terrible all the next day. The consequences of drinking I guess. Ive been happier drinking less lately, and honestly, i've been able to socialize without it which is nice.

Lets see. Friday I had an eye appointment. I got new glasses. It'd been a couple years and I'm glad. These are pretty cute and it'll be nice to finally have a nice pair of glasses again as opposed to a junky pair from online. My last nice pair got beat up when I got hit by the bus.

And my glasses came in today which is super exciting, super quick, and nice.

And yesterday jackie did my hair and it looks great. Its really short but like, kind of reminds me what i had wished my hair looked like when i was younger and got the worlds worst edgy pixie cut because of course my mom's hair stylist doesn't know what punk rock is lol

Got my flu shot yesterday too.

I made an appt with a gyno. Guess I havent done that since 2017. Fucking oops lol. That happens tomorrow before we go out of town. guess they want to do a full physical. i feel like they go way overboard with this stuff but whatever i guess. maybe i can ask about my tonsils and my toenail fungus heh.

I saw Debbie Tuesday morning which was super nice. We didnt go out there because Dave is back and hes unvaccinated. We'll go out there at some point once Dave goes back out for work.

this weekend we're going to the hill country to swim and stuff. work has been sooooo bad this week. we deployed a new internal tool and turned off the old one with little to no testing. its fucking unbearable and its been a rough week which is why this entry has been kinda hard.

but i still love you, dw.

OMG mood. See also my mom's hairdresser being baffled by 1) Robert Smith's hair (and me not understanding hair product at that age) and 2) Blixa Bargeld's hair.

New software releases at work suuuuuuck. I swear half the time they push it out on us, it slows our systems down and other things break. And functionality is missing etc...

Our testing guys used to have time to focus and the one I'm friends with said they now have to TIME their testing like - bruh. Fuck you guys, that way lies disaster it's already bad enough, now you want to rush through testing? *sigh*

Yeah I’m p sure they did all their testing with demo data and not real data. Demo data never ever ever behaves like real data. 😤

Oh damn. Yeah I think our company uses like backup/old data copy to test on (so it's not affecting current accounts, but still based on live/real data sets). I guess there's that for us, GO FRONTIER LOL.
