What have you finished reading?
Ascender, Volume 4: Star Seed by Jeff Lemire (Author), Dustin Nguyen (Artist) - I didn't realise this was wrapping up. But a lot of interesting exploration into the balance of science v magic (and vice versa). I'll miss this one. I may give it a re-read at some point (but there's a few long series ive said that for)
Black Hammer: Visions Volume 1 (Black Hammer, 1) by Patton Oswalt (Author), Geoff Johns (Author), Chip Zdarsky (Author), Mariko Tamaki (Author) - a bunch of shorts in the black hammer world. none of them really stood out all that much to me. there was a ghost world cross over but idk.
Monstress, Volume 6: The Vow by Marjorie Liu (Author), Sana Takeda (Artist) - While I want to still re-read this once its complete because there is just a ton of minutia getting missed by me, its so so good. and pretty. and just really fleshed out. my only complaint is sometimes it feels like it fills the dead air with world building which can feel overwhelming at times.
What are you currently reading?
Lumberjanes Vol. 20 by Shannon Watters (Author), Kat Leyh (Author), Brooklyn Allen (Illustrator) - I was going to go to regular books this week, but I thinK I'm going to do another week of comics, if only because I have to know how lumberjanes ends. I expect to cry.
