I've created a monster

Biggie is been an absolute bed terrorist. and its my fault.

I mean, first of all, Z is out of town, and I think some of Biggie's rampaging goes through Z first. He's not here to buffer some of it.

But secondly, once I started caving in and just giving him treats in the middle of the night, I've clearly awarded his bad behavior. And I knew that. I just didn't realize that now he thinks every time I wake up, I will get up and give him treats so he will leave me alone. So I cannot sleep. Every 2 hours this cat is trying to get me up for treats.

I knew this would probably happen, just not at the extent that it has happened.

That automatic feeder can't come quickly enough lol

Have you had the vet check him out, in case maybe some sort of endocrine imbalance? (idk what I'm talking about - hence, I guess, my vet query :P).

Anyways, I hope you get your feeder ASAP! <3

Oh hes had bloodwork and all that. hes on a steroid for his tummy problems, and thats part of it. The other part is that I dont just leave a bowl full of treats out because he eats so much he pukes.

In his old house, he would just have a bowl full of treats to graze on (lol) and Ive thought about doing that but i dont want him to be 17 lbs again (hes down to a healthy 13)

aww yeah. You're doing the right thing the possibility of fatter liver disease in cats can be dangerous for sure...
