What have you finished reading?
We Have Always Been Here: A Queer Muslim Memoir by Samra Habib - I really loved this book. I don't have too much else to add from last week. It has a happy ending. Its not fair that her photography as well as her prose are both excellent. Save some talent for the rest of us!

The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal - A tale of two sisters, one usurps the full inheritance, the other gets nothing. The rich sister opens a brewery and says she will eventually give her other sister her inheritance. The class divide between the two is huge. The author writes an amazing midwestern voice, and makes me miss home. While being AMAB (afaik) they are only writing women in this book and they nail it.
The Collected Poems of Audre Lorde by Audre Lorde (Author) - Its poetry. And its hefty. So I'm reading a handful of poems each night before I start reading novels. Its the only wieldy way I'll be able to get through this.
