The Stonewall Reader by New York Public Library (Editor), Jason Baumann (Editor, Introduction) - I was hoping to knock this out before I go on vacation, but alas I'll likely be taking it with me. The accounts of folks actually at stonewall were riveting and occasionally conflicting. Still, I feel a better understanding of how stonewall has become so mythologized. I'm in the post-stonewall writing now which is kind of all over the place. But I think thats the point. Queer liberation needed to find where it wanted to go after the riots. And this shit is phenomenally dated, but interesting none-the-less.
