The Women's House of Detention: A Queer History of a Forgotten Prison by Hugh Ryan (Author) - This penultimate chapter was about abuse and it really, really fucked with me. I don't really care to write more about it because it was mega fucking triggering for me. Anyway, I have like 20 pages left and this good, again, is an important part of lgbtqia+ history but man. it is HEAVY.
