Two nights ago, we put back in the CO2 and monitored it. Fish were fine. At one point I did turn it up, but we MONITORED it. IT WAS FINE.
Yesterday morning, the fish were suffocating. I aerated the water as I could and stopped the CO2. Everyone was alive, but 3 of the 5 angelfish were struggling. Including the angelfish I hand-reared from my first successful fry.
That angelfish died. And even though its just a fish, I feel like shit and I'm sad, and I feel like its all my fault for adjusting the knob at all.
