What have you finished reading?
The Low, Low Woods by Carmen Maria Machado (Author), Dani (Illustrator) - This was a good story and wrapped up nicely.
The Unbelievable Unteens: From the World of Black Hammer Volume 1 by Jeff Lemire (Author), Tyler Crook (Illustrator) - I am always impressed with how large the black hammer universe is for having been made by just Lemire. This one was pretty good.
Loose Ends by Jason Latour (Author), Chris Brunner (Cover Art, Artist), Rico Renzi (Cover Art, Artist) - I'll admit my concentration hasn't been the best lately. I couldn't really figure out what was going on most of the time in this comic. The art is cool though.
Last Days of American Crime by Rick Remender (Author), Greg Tocchini (Artist) - So, I wanted this to be broody, since its by Remender. Surprisingly, it wasn't as broody as I wanted. Its a good story, but had some stuff I felt could be cut. Oh well. I didn't realize this is going to be made into a TV show.
The Impending Blindness of Billie Scott by Zoe Thorogood (Author) - I preface this with the stupid genetic testing I took found I carry the gene for macular degeneration, and I've always been a little mindful of this, because I'll likely go blind or nearly-blind when I am old. At any rate, this story is the story of an artist who loses her sight very quickly, in the matter of weeks due to detached retinas. She also gets her first invitation to do a gallery show. Its also the author's first graphic novel. The art is phenomenal and its an amazing story, although I felt like parts were either a little incomplete or were cut down due to an editor. Despite losing her sight, she continues to paint. This one is honestly one of my favorites thus far. So I recommend it.

Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown - Last week I read up more on intentionality. Now I'm just waiting for Toria to catch up.
Clementine Book One by Tillie Walden (Author, Artist), Robert Kirkman (Author) - The telltale The Walking Dead games were probably the best TWD media outside maybe the first couple seasons. Its nice to see Clementine's story carry on.
The Low, Low Woods by Carmen Maria Machado (Author), Dani (Illustrator) - This was a good story and wrapped up nicely.
