What have you finished reading?
Irl by Tommy Pico (Author) - okay I felt like nothing hit as amazing as nature poem, but irl is phenomenal. It’s loose binding thing is online life and offline life but also returns to the theme of having a ~muse~ a lot. Idk it’s just amazing.
What are you currently reading?
Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown - no progress from Vikki this week I don’t think.
In Limbo by Deb JJ Lee (Author) - a beautiful, emotional YA graphic novel. One of the best I’ve read in a long time about depression, being too Korean and too American, and the struggle of trying to fit in. I feel like usually adults miss a few things in remembering what going through high school is like, but this one is really gut wrenching and authentic. I’m almost to the end.
