Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown - No progress this week.

Inspired: How to Create Tech Products Customers Love (Silicon Valley Product Group) 2nd Edition by Marty Cagan (Author) - Talk about customer and product discovery which is honestly kind of interesting to me. This is a fast read and light as hell, so its been fine to help me get back into my reading rhythm

All About Love: New Visions by bell hooks (Author) - No progress this week.

It's really interesting to watch some product managers "go through the motions" but clearly have no idea about what product design or good UI design is. I think at some level, some people need to either have grown up in the product environment that they're working on, or they need to have some good intuition about users' mental model.

i've been meaning to read bell hooks for a really long time now. it seems like everyone else has managed to start. i'm always busy now hanging out with my bf and i'm ab to start school soon so i'll have even less time but i'm interested in hearing your thoughts about that particular book so far. there is another that comes before it ( it may be apart of a two book series but don't quote me on that ) but, i don't remember the name of it.

All about love started really really good. Especially considering I’ve been going through a separation/divorce. The latter half has felt not as inspiring, but not terrible either. This is my first bell hooks book and I think it’s a good place to start :)
