May. 9th, 2018 09:50 pmWhere was I last time? Dejected and feeling disposable, yeah? Yeah.
Hah. Right after that, a buddy of mine stayed with me for the weekend. But all weekend he hung out with his friends and mostly just crashed on my couch. We chatted a little the first night, but I mostly felt like an after thought. We're not bffs or anything, so I guess its okay. But it added to my melancholy.
Oh and the day before that, Thursday, my other friends, phil and amanda, were coming into town but then got in too late to see us. again, just. I felt bad.
Yeah. Friday he came into town. Same night, Phil and Amanda hung out with us. We went to Oddwood Ales and then St Elmos. It was a pretty fun night!
The next day, Saturday, Z had to work at the brewery (which im still annoyed hes working every damn saturday). I dropped him off and then went to check out the pecan st festival. It happens every year and I had never checked it out. I mean, now I know why none of my friends go. It just feels like a county fair with no rides. Lots of vendors. fair food. bands, but nothing particularly catching. i walked the strip down and back and just got a Popsicle. When I came back, I just cleaned house. It kinda needed it anyway.
Later that evening Phil and Amanda invited me to catch dinner. We went to the brewtorium, but tried to go to black star and pluckers but they were both too busy. Afterwards, we met up with Z at the brewery and they brought us home. I was so happy to see Z. I miss Z when I dont get to see him all day.
Sunday Z slept most of the day because, i guess he had problems sleeping that night. I just played online and played DDR mostly. After he got up, we went to check out a brewery, two wheel, which was fine. Then we went to Tin's to watch the wrestling ppv. the ppv was p boring. WWE in general has been real fuckin boring lately. I might stop watching raw/smackdown for a while. Even tho i just have it on in the background while i work, it feels mostly like a waste of time lately.
i keep sucking at silks which is discouraging. Ill keep trying.
Cats are okay. They still are just slowly warming up to each other. Skittles will tolerate some stuff without hissing, while other seemingly asinine things set her off. But theyre getting used to each other more. Blue still had diarrhea all week, so he goes back to the vet Friday. *sigh* Also he peed outside the litter box again. Ugh.
I'm in better spirits than I was last week, although still sort of so-so. I'm trying to keep my chin up. I know my friends love me and want to see me.
So yeah. That's been p much it. Works been hectic still. I'm almost done with my hxc dev studying so maybe next friday ill re-try the dev test even tho it doesnt matter [as much] anymore.
