what are you reading wednesday?
Oct. 16th, 2019 11:14 amWhat have you finished reading:
Sailor Moon Eternal Edition 5 by Naoko Takeuchi - ~ magical girls~. It ends on a cliff hanger and I have to wait till November for the next one! D:
Death to the Bullshit Artists of South Texas by Fernando A. Flores - Told you I'd read a book-book next. I got this book on a drunken whim and I'm glad I did! Its clearly written by someone that understands the music scene. This is a bunch of short stories, but easily my favorite short story was the one about a punk band called Bread8 that got wrapped up in local election tomfoolery. The prose is good for being a book i drunkenly bought on a whim, so I'm happy with it.
The Wonderful World of Tank Girl by Alan Martin (Author), Brett Parsons (Illustrator) - And back to comics. short, one issue vignettes of tank girl and the typical mayhem.
What are you currently reading:
Age of Reptiles: Ancient Egyptians by Ricardo Delgado (Author, Illustrator) - So this is just beautifully drawn dinosaur action. No words. It is beautiful. Its also hard to find. We were lucky to find a used library copy for relatively cheap.
