(no subject)

I forgot to say yesterday we went out to dead horse bend state park to watch the sunset. Apparently it is popular and pretty. Well it was the fucking Disneyland of sunsets. It was a fucking zoo. And honestly like sunsets are supposed to be contemplative things so it was real wild. After the sun set and everyone dispersed it wasn’t so bad and I got some nice shots from the East.

This morning we went to a beer store. This is a fucking feat In Utah. The liquor store was so fucking sad. Had barely any beer selection. Everything on the floor in boxes. It reminded me of a fucking aldi’s. That was an experience I guess. Hah.Texas has some crummy beer laws but hoo boy Utah takes the cake.

Today we were in canyonlands again but went to the needles side. We kept seeing the needles in the distance but nothing got really close to them except long ass 10+ mile hikes that I def wasn’t in the mood for. We did keep it under 5 miles and took it relatively easy today. We did a hike around to some views but the needles were just always far away. So weird for a place called the fucking needles district 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tomorrow we’re doing our ranger led hike to the fiery furnace. It’ll be doing the Packers game but oh well. That’ll be our only hike tomorrow I think.
