Bingo Love by Tee Franklin - no progress this week. I’ll finish it when I get home from vacation.

One more thing: stories and other stories by BJ Novak - I’ve noticed a lot of the short stories are about fate and stuff like that. I really liked the ones about Elvis and the stock market. We’re about 2/3rds through this. We should finish it as vacation ends.

A Dance with Dragons by George R R Martin - I think I may regret bringing my biggest book on vacation lol. I’m only 1/5th through this tome. This book does differ a lot from the show though. There’s a lot of plot stuff completely missed so it’s been interesting.

Today we took it easy since we were both tired from all the hiking. We got breakfast at this place with a ton of “wine mom” crap all over it. Lots of “suck it up butter cup” and “ this is our house rules” signs. There was a table of boomers next to us complaining about their computer problems. One was mad win xp didn’t update anymore. They tried to get a 15 year old to fix it but they couldn’t. They asked the wait person what a sauce was. They said sriracha. They had never heard of sriracha before. The wait person said it was fucking “Chinese”.

Wow I am dead wow Utah is a desert of white people, bland food, and bad beer.

Uh so we went for a scenic drive for a few hours which was p cool although there were no pull-outs for pictures. In the middle of the mountains there was some weird monoliths and stuff. Afterwards it was still early. Z didn’t want to do any of the 4wd drives in the parks so we went back to the room for a bit and saw there was a bowling alley. So we went bowling for a few hours which was fun.

And yeah that’s it. The hostel moved us from a room to a private cabin because they double booked the room. The cabin is p nice. But the hostel seems extra over run with hippies and stuff rn. Idk why? There was a real weird guy in the shower next to us? We’re leaving tomorrow so I guess it doesn’t matter anyway.

We’re staying near capital reef the next few days. On the way down we’ll go to goblin valley state park which should be cool.
