Mar. 10th, 2020 11:50 amWow time flies.
Saturday was a weird day for me. I was sad about flying out, but simultaneously just ready to be home. Ive been gone for 3 weeks and man that was enough. We kept sort of... trying to accommodate everyone's food wants/needs. We went to sultans market which i was hella fucking pumped about, and also got donuts. We also saw Hannah at the place she works and all my goodbyes were full of tears, even though I was super overwhelmed about being in Chicago/parking/driving/etc. Go figure. I, uh, dont miss being in a city that big, but I do miss good public transit.
I got to midway and got thru security p quickly. I had a beer just to sort of calm down. I don't like the beer as medicine approach, but more like... beer as a treat lol. I met someone who also loved cats (they saw my cat bag) and we shared pictures of our cats which was nice. The flight was easy and uneventful. Lots of folks were washing their hands a lot, using hand sanitizer, etc which made me feel hopeful?
I've been happy to be home. I had forgotten my BIL is in town though, but thats okay. My Sunday just went differently than expected. Z had to work, but I got my nails done (they look amazing), Shane and I went to a bunch of different breweries. We also saw Kirt and Justin which was sweet. And we got them wings. Afterward we went back to our place and watched the WWE PPV. Which:
( WWE Elimination chamber spoilers )
Yesterday I was happy to finally be home and work with a real keyboard, desk, and chair. And two monitors. Bless. I did get a massage which was nice. Oh and I did my taxes which sucked, but its done now.
Today I was excited about getting back to the gym, but my gym requested that since I had flown that I not come to the gym for 2 weeks. I am pretty bummed but trying to accept it. i know folks are immunocompromised, and i know it takes 2 weeks for symptoms to show. Just. You know. Idk. I want life to get back to normal.
Anyway, my darling husband never bought any toilet paper while I was on vacation because he doesn't need it. And now that I am back, I'm a little worried it is going to be scarce. Tonight I get to go and find some instead of working out I guess. I need to run to the post office at some point too. And i need to check in with some folks.
Well thats all I got for now.
