Mar. 11th, 2020 10:22 amWhat have you finished reading?
Avatar, The Last Airbender: The Rise of Kyoshi by F. C. Yee (Author), Michael Dante DiMartino - Kyoshi talks about wanting to learn to kill to exact her revenge, but when an adviser tells her to kill someone, she has mercy instead. They owe a favor and wind up saving a Real Bad Guy but Kyoshi challenges him to a duel, goes full avatar, and kills him. She talks about when is it right to kill vs mercy. and then it ends on a cliffhanger and I have to wait till this summer for the next book to come out!
What are you currently reading?
The Lost World by Michael Crichton - Yeah yeah, i know, this is basically junk food in book format. but I love sci fi and dinosaurs so here I am. Yes, I cringe each time Crichton has to write about a woman (but he's improved somewhat since Jurassic Park) but whatever. Dinosaurs are back on a more different island in Costa Rica. Were they intentionally brought there? Or did they escape from Isla Nublar? Is it a ~lost world~? There's kids again? Why are there kids? Just axe the smart kid trope, the kids are annoying. Turns out the dinos are from InGens "Site B".
