May. 18th, 2020 09:20 amOn wednesday, I got my new glasses. Theyre from Zenni and they look nearly identical to my old glasses. Its perfect. I also got a pair of sunglasses and theyre also good. I'm glad this went well. Last time I tried to get sunglasses online they were far too small.
I also went looking for another car Wednesday. We could still test drive, despite the social distancing. I tried a 2010 hyundai, but it had manual everything, which didnt matter too much, but a non working stereo really was pushing me toward no. I drove a 2010 mazda 3 hatchback which was better and decided on that. Its really different, but its okay. The speakers are better than my old car which is nice. My old hyundai accent had speakers that must have been made out of tin cans. they were awful.
So it feels like, more or less, my life is rebuilt. There's no more soreness and most of my bruises are gone. I still freak out a little, or like, think too much about what happened but I'm moving through it.
Otherwise, not much else happened this weekend. I played a lot of animal crossing with pals saturday. Today I hung out with kirt and justin from a distance. it feels weird, but it also feels nice to sort of commiserate with people irl. i am pretty sick of online meetings.
speaking of, we have an online hang out thursday and i guess we're seeing Zs other cousin matt on friday. i am not keen to really hang out irl again, basically it felt too normal last time, but he also just moved here in the middle of a pandemic and im trying to be empathetic to that. his kids will be moving down here soon so i reckon that'll help.
I've been watching a lot of magical girl anime. I got through sailor moon super s and stars. Ive been watching cardcaptor sakura. i remember wanting to watch it when i was younger because it is so pretty. but it was never on when i could watch it. watching a 10 year old girl solve all the worlds problems have been absolutely my speed rn. Z and I are also continuing to watch steven universe. We just finished season 2.
Basically, thats it.
