Fermat's Enigma by Simon Singh - So, two Japanese mathematicians figure out that modular equations are also elliptical equations. If this could get proved, then fermat's theorem could get proved. This one guy, Wiles, works in isolation for 7 years before finally presenting a proof. Sadly, he has some goofs, but eventually gets them all ironed out and then bam, the theorem is finally proved. It means a lot for a lot of mathematics. The whole story was pretty interesting, and this was a good read.
Akira, Vol. 2 by Katsuhiro Otomo (Author) - The manga is like the anime but more drawn out, more or less. It was a lot of action, so it was a fast read. This is the first time in months fiction didn't frustrate me, so thats nice.
What are you currently reading?
The Book of Dust: La Belle Sauvage (Book of Dust, Volume 1) by Philip Pullman (Author) - We're back to atheist narnia. This time we're following a boy named Malcolm and there's a baby, Lyra, that some folks are trying to protect.
