What are you reading Wednesday?
Aug. 12th, 2020 10:13 amWhat have you finished reading?
We Are Everywhere: Protest, Power, and Pride in the History of Queer Liberation by Matthew Riemer (Author), Leighton Brown (Author) - This has been my favorite things I've read all year. It, sadly, helps that I know absolutely nothing about gay history before AIDS. This was a wonderful read, it was interesting, I wanted to learn more, and it kept me up all night. Also, its full of amazing photos of gay people existing before I Was even born.
Would I have come out of the closet back then? Would I just pretend I was straight, since that's relatively easy to do when you're bi? Who knows. But I'd been thinking about it while reading this.
What are you currently reading?
The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger by Stephen King - I've been wanting to read this one for a while. I'm not very far in, and I dont really know whats going on quite yet. There's a gunslinger. He has guns. Hes chasing a man in black. They're in a desert. That's all I know thus far.
