What are you reading Wednesday?
Jul. 21st, 2021 10:55 amI keep telling myself i'm going to stop reading comics and pick something else up, but i don't. sorry/not sorry.
What have you finished reading?
Tank Girl Forever by Alan Martin (Author), Brett Parson (Illustrator) - This was supposed to be the second in a full tank girl arc, but its pretty unrelated to the first issue all together. I am, and remain, a huge tank girl fan, but i feel like its turning from satire to nonsequitor? or something? maybe I'm just not having fun with it anymore.
Ascender, Volume 3: The Digital Mageby Jeff Lemire (Author), Dustin Nguyen (Artist) - By the time I finish the trade, I remember what was going on. I really need to go back and re-read decender/acender at some point.
What are you currently reading?
Planetary VOL 01: All Over the World and Other Stories by Warren Ellis (Author), John Cassaday (Illustrator) - I got this second hand because im not giving Ellis any money. The character building here is pretty terrible, but its sort of about the secrets of the world, and the hidden world beneath. thus far its pretty disjointed. Its been slow reading.
