oh qq:

how do y'all backup your dws? back at lj there was a program called ljArchive, but didnt know if there was an equivalent, of if I should just copy/paste each entry into a .txt doc just to be safe.

I haven't done any backup of DW. In fact I wish I had done one last one of the last bit of LJ before I jumped ship, but ljbook that I used, charged.

There must be some way... hmm...

According to this page lj archive works w/DW.

Not sure how current that is, or if things changed. Since DW is built on old/classic LJ tech, I imagine most clients work. For example, I'm using Semagic for posting.

I think the main thing would be making sure you're using the https port (what is it, 43?) I had the issue where semagic stopped working then realized it was cuz I was on non-https, and DW had switched over to https.

So if you tried ljarchive already but it's not working, maybe check that?

AWESOME! YW <3

I'm glad, since I haven't had a full back up since LJ Book, and I'm sad that ljbook charges now. :(

I wonder if lj archive does pdf export by now? Would be cool if it did. Prolly not. Time to look!
