What have you finished reading?

Isola by Brenden Fletcher (Author), Karl Kerschl (Author, Artist), Msassyk (Artist) - This one I definitely confused me, but not as badly as The Spire. It kept jumping between present day and the past, whichout indicating so, so I can't tell if The Queen has been a Tiger for a long time or what? Either way, the Queen is still a tiger and safe for now. I don't know that I would buy more of this one though.

Blackwood by Evan Dorkin (Author), Veronica Fish (Illustrator), Andy Fish (Illustrator) - This comic is about 5 kids getting accepted into a school that is secretly a magical school. Magical shenanigans happen and its kind of lovecraftian, but its also not very clever. Also, it ended? But it didn't feel like it ended at all? I wouldn't pick up any more of this even if it existed anyway.

Crowded by Christopher Sebela (Author), Ted Brandt (Cover Art, Artist), Ro Stein (Cover Art, Artist) - OK, I thought the premise of this comic was really stupid when we picked it up. Basically we're in a dystopian gig economy, and an app called Reapr allows you to put a hit on someone, and then theres an app called Defendr do you can, like, save yourself. At any rate, completely insufferable main character Charlie gets a 1 million dollar bounty on her head so everyone wants to kill her. Her defendr only has 1.5 stars but seems capable. Also, she's gay. This paints a surprisingly accurate hellscape and totally almost seems plausible, somehow, I want to keep reading this one.

Maximus Cattus Of Ernestus: The King of Aleppo - This is "written by the cat" but the real author isnt listed. Basically its the story of a cat in an animal sanctuary in Aleppo. Its very sad at first, but gets better. Its hard, obviously when I think of Syria, I think of human lives lost, and this just focuses on the animals, since, yanno, thats its goal. Any way the pictures are cute, and the story sort of written poorly but fine enough
