What have you finished reading?

On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden (Author)- I just really love all of Tillie's stuff. This is such a long read though, so I had been putting it off for a while now. This is a slow burn romance story about two girls in love but separated. She goes across the galaxies to find her again, just to see her and even see if there was still something there. I'm a sucker for a sweet love story. Also, I couldn't sleep, so I surprisingly got through this tome quickly.

Mashbone & Grifty by Rolando Esquivel and Oscar Garza - I kickstarted this comic because one of the creators is a local indie wrestler. The comic is about two dudes, one inexplicably a caveman, who are amateur detectives to hide the fact that they're both kinda losers. This comic was fun, but it could have used the really awesome art more to tell the story. Instead, they rely a bit too much on words. But the art is really unique, which was a big draw to me kick starting it in the first place. My favorite of the 4 stories was the one on football.

Spit Drip by Archie Bongiovanni - Short little zine with poems and pictures. The art is really cool and what drew me in. And maybe I've been depressed for so long that I like poetry, because here is, again, more poetry that resonated with me and I enjoyed it.

Just One Ten Minutes by Sunmi - Another short zine comic I picked up on a whim about 4 people mostly just having fun at a place called the lost sidewalk but also a near death experience. You know, all those times in your life you were like "oh shit, if this had been late/early, i'd've died". Those moments stick with you.

What are you currently reading?

Axiom's End by Lindsay Ellis - Its cool to still like Lindsay Ellis, right? I haven't started the book yet. Just got it off the pile.

snowball has been in the bedroom a bit more again. maybe maybe maybe someday she'll sleep with me again.

The groomers came today and got Blue all shaved down. I've needed a break from brushing him anyway, so I'm glad to have a month or so where I don't have to groom his fur.

I got a cat tree, and its, like, not full size??? it feels like its 3/4s size. Of course, the day I build it, Snowball and Blue have been using the saucer I was going to replace with this tree. So now, I'm like... do I keep this 3/4ths cat tower no one is interested in? Give it time, they might like it? Or put back this saucer because at least i know they could be interested in it? idk.

and of course, i feel ripped off. and its 50 dollars. but I should have done some measuring. You know how it is, you go off the picutre, and it looks to-size in the picture. and thats where they deceive you. This is mostly my fault i guess. giving up on amazon, which was full of shit like this too, and moving to ebay where its even worse sucks. maybe i should have tried chewy instead. its hard because i want something cheap. this is literally just carpet and particle board. it shouldnt cost a lot. Idk. I'm just all mad about it i guess. I s2g i'm never buying a cat tree online again and just going in the damn store.

Still this is nearly 100 dollars of shit i bought for cats, and like, it isnt working out and i just dont want to fuck with returns on physically large items. im just mad mostly? the stairs i bought for pepper at least were good and made sense. pepper is just dead. sadly.

i keep worrying that i'm forgetting to take care of her. it was easy to only see her once or twice a day since all she did was hide in the closet. i dont know. it makes me feel terrible all over again. i feel fucking terrible. i feel like im losing it. therapy tomorrow will hopefully be useful.

I feel like I've been having a panic attack the last several hours and I dont know why
